Course Description

This unique two-in-one course combines Piano Unit 7 and an enrichment course called Teaching Strategies (formerly The Art of Teaching). Both courses can be registered through SAA. Both courses can be registered through SAA.

Book 7 will explore the best ways to present the material for the Suzuki students' well-trained ears and eyes. Teachers will be thoroughly educated on the analysis & technique of each piece as well as the important pedagogical ideas necessary for presenting the music to the students.

Teaching Strategies offers an additional 10 hours of a hands-on "mini-practicum" where participants have the opportunity to show videos of their own teaching and practice on students while receiving constructive feedback from Caroline Fraser.

Also includes private coaching session with Sophie Chalk! Participants can sign up to receive any additional help.
