2018 Participants share their experiences of new Teaching Strategies course

We regret to inform you that due to the current situation around COVID-19, the Holy Names University Suzuki Piano Teacher Training Institute has been postponed until July 2021.

We realize this will come as a disappointment, and want to assure you that the course offerings from this year will simply be deferred to the 2021 Institute, so that you can plan ahead to continue your Suzuki Teacher Training next year.

The dates for next year’s institute will be July 5-23, 2021. We hope you will join us!

Until then, we send you our best wishes for health and safety, and of course joyful music making!

Sincerely yours,

HNU Administrative Team

The Holy Names University Suzuki Teacher Training Institute aims to inspire and guide current and prospective Suzuki piano teachers by:
1. Understanding the philosophy
2. Mastering the repertoire
3. Receiving direct teaching feedback from Caroline Fraser
4. Fostering a strong community of learning

Unique to our institute is the inclusion of a hands-on teaching component to go along with all book courses. Participants registering for Piano Units 2-7 will also be registered for a "Teaching Strategies" course that is a wonderful opportunity for teachers to thoroughly learn Dr. Suzuki's philosophy through hands-on teaching practice.

2021 Courses will run from July 5 - July 23
